Canaima Project. Feed the Children. #2

We are volunteers working together to keep children in Venezuela alive.  

Our organization is established in Los Angeles, CA. And it's composed of people from Latin America and the US. 

Have you ever looked into the eyes of a happy child? The joy and innocence they exude is heart warming and filled with awe for the future. They want to be astronauts, firemen, doctors, ballerinas, princesses and superheroes. 

Unfortunately, Venezuelan kids don't see that. Their eyes don't depict the possibilities of the future anymore. Their present needs take away the consideration of the future to be present to the search for food, even in the trash cans. 

Food shortages are a huge problem across the country.  The majority of the population is unable to afford food and even when they do, they have to wait in long lines to find basics like flour and rice, and even longer ones, of up to 5 hours, for milk and eggs.  

Malnutrition has increased tremendously, particularly in the poorest segments of the population. Families cannot afford more than 1 meal a day and those meals consist of just bread or banana.

Canaima Project is working in alliance with the American Venezuelan Engagement Foundation who support several organizations in the Venezuelan territory, and Alimenta la Solidaridad, an organization founded in 2016  dedicated to creating cafeterias around the country where they feed 4,500 kids from Monday to Friday. 

With every $30 USD of your donation, we will feed 3 children, once a day, for a month. YOU READ RIGHT, each $30 USD feeds 3 kids for an entire month. 

$100 USD will cover lunch for 10 kids for a month.
$250 USD will cover a cafeteria running for a week.
$1000 USD will cover the entire cafeteria for a whole month.

Without children, there is no future. Join us to make their future a Present!
