Bringing Joy to Little Hearts!

Once upon a time, in a small village called Canal # 1, on the West Bank of Demerara, filled with love and compassion, a group of kind hearted individuals embarked on a mission to spread joy and happiness during the magical holiday season. They created a memorable experience for kids who may not have the means to experience the magic of receiving a gift....this fundraiser is to support those individuals and help them to spread love.

Hi! My name is Tara Persaud and we are doing the annual toy drive for the kids of Canal # 1. On Christmas morning, Santa will distribute the gifts to the kids. This is being coordinated by the Canal # 1 Community Development Group, and has been an annual activity for about 10 years, growing each year.

We have a goal to buy 1,000 toys! So please, join us on our mission to bring happiness to little hearts and make this holiday truly magical by making a donation.
