Canberra Carols by Candlelight 2022

Have you experienced the wonder of Canberra Carols by Candlelight?

Carols by Candlelight has been a Canberra tradition since the end of the Second World War, but we need your support to continue.

Tens of thousands of families have taken part in this Canberra institution, coming together once a year to mark Christmas - a season of joy, peace and hope.

For many decades, the Woden Valley Youth Choir has carried responsibility for raising the money and in-kind support to cover the cost and operations of Carols.

But in recent years, the cost of running this marvellous event has escalated, and corporate sponsorship has been harder to find.

This is where you come in.

We are looking for donations - large and small, from individuals and businesses - to cover the running costs of Carols by Candlelight, and keep it as a free public event.

Canberra Carols by Candlelight is the second-longest-running community carols in Australia, after Melbourne.

It is a massive undertaking by a small community organisation, the Woden Valley Youth Choir, but we know so many people in the Canberra community love the Carols.

Help keep this event alive for this year and for future generations by donating to the Canberra Carols by Candlelight.
