My run for Aeoncademy

Hi, I’m Tara. 

I’m a mum, a wife, a nurse and a runner- My PB is a 5k park run.

As of lately I’ve been running more frequently and been thinking about what I can do to support my local community.

I have decided to Run the distance between Canberra and Sydney (286km) to raise money for Aeoncademy.  I will update weekly progress!

Aeoncademy is a not for profit organisation and charity that has been working for the well- being of the community for 18 years, delivering high quality education and care services to kids aged3- 16 years and their families.

My 7 year old son Harrison has been attending  Aeoncademy for the past 3 years after school and some school holidays.

Aeoncademy educators play a continuing role
influencing Harrison’s creativity, kindness, determination, resilience, confidence, imagination, compassion and happiness - for which I am grateful!

Money raised will be allocated for the following:

Play pod material           $500
Hula hoops and active play equipment $350
Roll up carpets for indoor activity during winter   $350
Garden supplies. $500
Sparks new play resources.   $300

Total $2000

-Week 1. Last week I ran 13k. Not a bad time on my 5k on Monday - 30.49!
