Cancer and Covid SUCKS!
Donation protected
This GoFundMe is created to raise funds for Sarah Vizuet medical expenses, and to help other women and kids who are going through Cancer or Covid through her Christian church’s guidance.
Everyone who knows Sarah personally knows that she has been through too much and does not deserve this. She is more determined than ever to fight and will kick Cancer and Covid's ass at the same time. One thing for certain is that Covid has impacted us all and is here to stay.
Sarah went to great lengths to avoid catching Covid because of her weakened immune system from breast cancer from not leaving her home, missing holidays, and spending time with loved ones. Despite her best efforts, she was hospitalized on January 18, 2022 and put on a ventilator for 9 days and missing her regular chemo treatments for cancer. Sarah is breathing on her own January 30, 2022 with regular oxygen and has another 7-10 days before getting discharged from the hospital.
Sarah, a survivor of the Swine flu H1N1, in 2009 lost her mother while she was fighting for her life in the hospital and could not see or be with her at her burial. Sarah, a faithful and loving wife of 38 years has impacted her community in many different ways. As a proud member of a Nondenominational Christian Church, and with a doctoral degree in biblical counseling, she loves touching peoples hearts with the word of God and bringing them to God for salvation. Sarah an elementary teacher for 14 years, shaping young minds came to an end and was the saddest day in her life when she had to make a decision to retire and focus on her diagnosis of stage 2 breast cancer in 2015.
With God’s constant guidance, perseverance and determination she was able to defeat breast cancer in 2017. Unfortunately on July 2021 Stage 4 Metastasis Breast Cancer returned with a vengeance in her bones, pancreas, lungs, and liver. Having to deal with radiation and chemo again has taken a toll on her body, mobility, and lifestyle. Chemo has damaged Sarah’s legs with neuropathy nerve damage which almost paralyzed her and will need a great amount of home-care and physical therapy to get her nerves well enough to stop dragging her legs.
Instead of giving up Sarah has left her fears in Gods hand. August 2021 a radiation doctor at MD Anderson said she had weeks left for survival. With God’s prayers and glory to prove them all wrong and once again show the world how tough she is, she will be an advocate for cancer patients. In a true show of Gods love and will, she is still with us here on earth January 30, 2022. Updates will be provided.
Sarah’s husband, Ricardo is in between jobs and for a period no insurance. He is going to have to take a significant amount of time off of work to care for her and be by her side.
Any donation at all is greatly appreciated. Prayers and positive thoughts are greatly appreciated.
