Cancer and Wishes - Tommy Dixon

I'm starting this fundraiser for the man I I've had the honor of calling my father in law for these past almost 20 yrs. We got a call April 27th on my sons birthday with the worst news you could think of...the monster we call Cancer. My dad went in to the doctor for a CT scan and they saw a mass in his lungs and liver, it came back that the cancer had spread to both lungs and his liver. The news struck our whole family with grief...we are still unsure of how long he will be able to be with us but they were told that it looked to be spreading fast. We wanted to start this fundraiser to help ease my mom's and dad's pain of expenses and giving them the chance to do what they want to do before our time with him is cut short...we hold hope that it won't be. My dad is a Vietnam Veteran and has always been a hard working guy. Even after being retired he continued working in his wood shop making beautiful furniture locally. He has always been there for my step kids, he helped raise and nurture their growth and has been such a great grandpa to all of his grandkids my nieces and nephews included. He loves and adores mom and loves and cherishes his whole family with all of his heart. We as a family wanted to try to make it easier on mom with expenses and make sure despite his declining health to be able to be comfortable and happy during these times.
