Cancer caregiver, mother, and wife needs help

Hi, my name is Susan and I recently needed to begin dialysis treatment for kidney failure. I am a lead radiation therapist at an amazing cancer center. I also am a mother and a wife. I have already had a surgery to place the catheter for dialysis and may need another. I am on the transplant list and waiting. I have three children 23, 7, and 5. My little ones need me around for as long as possible and even if he doesn’t want to admit it so does my oldest. My husband is so amazing and helps me at home and with the children. It takes someone special to be a lifetime partner to someone with a chronic illness. He does it unwaveringly. My passion is caring for others. Around ten years ago I discovered my true calling as a radiation therapist. I love my job but have now discovered more than ever that in order to provide care for others you have to take care of yourself. I’m trying to do both now. Please consider donating or sharing.
