Cancer Clinic Expenses for Don Lisefski

Dear Friends and Friends of Friends,
I was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. That's no fun!
I am choosing to aggressively engage in what are often called "alternative" therapies. The clinic I will attend has a remarkable track record of completely reversing cancer. I believe it can also help me achieve a whole different level of health and immunity from all disease.
Here are my goals:
1) Of course I want to spend many more years with my wife, children and grandchildren. While I have no fear of death or dying I don't believe it's my time to go. But it would be silly of me not to do everything possible in order to be certain of this, having already been diagnosed with cancer.
2) I don't want to be "just" another cancer survivor. I also want to serve as an example to my family and all of my friends, especially those in Fairfield where I've lived for exactly 45 years now, that it's not at all necessary to get sick. (See more below about the preventative aspects of the therapies I've chosen.)
3) I want to continue to serve my community. I've been supporting the business community here in Fairfield for 39 years and I feel a great sense of satisfaction from helping to build this very special community -- all from nothing and in the middle of nowhere. But there's more to do. And I just LOVE my current work as a website designer.
I need your help in accomplishing all 3 of these goals at once.
I have chosen the Gerson therapy as my primary method of treatment as it has nearly 100 years of PROVEN, UNSURPASSED SUCCESS in the treatment of advanced, “terminal” and non-terminal degenerative diseases including cancer, AS WELL AS being the highest standard for the PREVENTION of disease.
The Advanced Gerson therapies are based on 3 basic concepts:
1) Intensive detoxification.
2) Powerful and continuous flooding of the body with large amounts of carefully chosen nutrients, through fresh juices taken every hour of every day, organic high-quality meals, and a few proven supplements.
3) Numerous all natural methods of killing the existing cancer cells.
This is a 2-year program! The first step is a 2-week stay at a clinic in Mexico. And that is what I need the funds for right now:
Cost of clinic ---- $12,900 (Includes room and board plus all treatments.)
Airfare for 2 ---- $1,100 (It is required to bring a companion. There is no extra charge for this except for Jeanette's airfare.)
Hotel before early morning flight out ---- $100
Parking, meals and other misc. travel expenses ---- $220
Required purchase of herbs and other supplements when leaving the clinic ---- $1,500
Other program expenses ---- $830

The clinic stay is followed by a 2-year at-home program that continues all of the nutritional therapies and detoxification techniques that were given at the clinic. The in-home program is supervised by a Gerson clinic doctor via blood test results and phone conversations. The additional ongoing expense of this in-home program seems a bit daunting to us right now -- but we hope to have better income in the future.

Is this urgent? Well, yes it is! While my cancer is not very advanced yet, it's common knowledge that no matter what therapies are used, "the sooner the better" makes sense in terms of the chances of overcoming it.
