Shawna Gardner (Applegarth) Cancer Treatment

Shawna Gardner is a wife (Tyler), mother (Madison, 13 and Mason, 7), daughter, sister, daughter-in-law, friend and co-worker.  She is a teacher for the deaf at Eastmont School District in East Wenatchee, Washington.  She is 37 years old and in her final year of study for her Masters Degree.

Shawna has also recently been diagnosed with "rectal adenocarcinoma with metastasis to the liver".

Shawna has had to give up her job, which she loves.  She is currently enduring chemotherapy, with surgery and radiation in her future.  Her cancer is extremely serious.  There are only a few doctors that can perform the surgery she has to have.  She and Tyler are facing not only an emotional struggle, but a financial one.  Her medical bills are already very high with no end in sight.

This challenge cannot be met by Tyler and Shawna alone.  They need help and support and we are reaching out to everyone for help.  We want to lessen their financial burden as much as possible so that Tyler and Shawna, along with their beautiful children can use their strength to support Shawna and her health instead of having to worry about finances.
