Donation protected
Update: Tammy sadly lost her battle with cancer on June 12th at the Northbay Hospital. Family would like to thank all that have donated so far for Khloe and Weston. Anyone who wishes to attend Tammy's funeral on Tuesday June 20th is welcome. For more information on Tammy’s service please see the link below of Tammy’s obituary.

My brother Josh and his partner in life Tammy need your help. For many of you that are close family or friends already know, Tammy was diagnosed last year with STAGE 4 Cancer. After fighting for almost a year through chemo and radiation she is now in hospital and will not be returning home to their two beautiful children, Khloe age 8 and Weston age 6.

My nephew Weston was born with Cystic Fibrosis, CF is a progressive terminal disorder with no cure damaging the respiratory and digestive system. After wrapping their heads around this scary diagnosis when Weston was first born, Tammy and Josh got to work altering their lives for Weston’s needs. Managing Weston's needs include an altered diet, physical therapy for airway clearance, and countless medications including multiple rounds of antibiotics for every chest infection. To add more, Josh was diagnosed with adult-onset type 1 insulin dependent diabetes, which requires the opposite diet that Weston requires.

Tammy being diagnosed with terminal cancer was not something their family was prepared to face for the glue of the family. Tammy is an amazing stay- at- home mom who has always been Josh’s rock, caring for the home and children. Josh has now taken on the immense role of trying to do it all. My big brother, my hero, has been unable to work his full-time job, while caring for Tammy and their two children. He has spent the last year driving Tammy and Weston to every appointment and caring for them and Khloe while trying to manage his own health.

This family needs financial security so that Josh can continue staying home with the kids until he is ready to go back to work. Khloe and Weston just had to face the devastating news that mommy is never coming home, they do not need their daddy worrying about money at this time. Josh has been home on EI since Tammy fell ill, and it is soon to run out! Since Tammy has always been a stay-at-home mom, there is absolutely NO life insurance or survivor benefits for the children or Josh. Josh is the strongest person I know, and he is an incredibly devoted partner and father, they’ve been through more than anyone should ever have to endure in a lifetime.
Let’s get him in the position where he can secure a future for the kids without worry.

All anyone wants in this life is healthy children and a loving partner by their side to grow old with but unfortunately that’s not always in the cards. Please, if you have a heart, and even a dime in your pocket, donate what you can, they need something to finally go their way.
