Cancer Fund for Candice Olson

My name is Candice Olson. I can tell you that I've been either in pain or tired or both. I had to quit work back in 2016 due to a diagnosis of heart problems. I was in and out of the hospital the whole year. Then in 2017, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Multiple Myeloma cancer. Which is a bone cancer that affects plasma which spreads. In the three years of radiation, chemo, and a stem cell transplant, I've been through many treatments of chemo, and not one has worked until now and this is NOT a cure. But since 2016, I have not worked. I rely on my disability check once a month and it's been this way since.  It's hard to find time to work due to aways being tired from two days of full chemo. I sleep for four days and possibly three days of feeling a little better. By the sixth day, I feel human. Being a single mother for 19 years and raising my daughter in those years, it has been a struggle mentally, emotionally, physically, and financially. But life must go on...
