Cancer fund raiser for monthly bill.

I'm Steven Caviness I live in Jackson TN. On January 3, 2023, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma. January 12 was my first dose of chemotherapy. I worked as a truck driver delivering auto parts to Nissan North America in Smyrna TN. I drive for Venture Express out of Murfreesboro TN. I was hoping to continue my driving duties while I was taking chemotherapy, but my body did not do well after chemo. The first two days were ok then on the third I stared feeling bad. On day four I got admitted to the hospital for four days. The chemo had thrown my blood levels all off. My sodium level had bottomed out. I was told my whole life to watch my sodium intake, but it turns out if gets too low and I will lose my mind. They got that fixed in the hospital. While in the hospital I had a small wound come up on my buttocks about the size of a pimple at first. In less than a week it was the size of a volleyball. When you are taking chemo your body does not heal like normal. The wound was very bad by the time I was able to get it looked at. I can't take chemo with a wound like that, so they paused my cancer treatments and I've been going to wound care three times a week. They say it should all be cleared up by next week 3/27/23. With all that being said I have not been able to work and I've been on FMLA. FMLA runs out on the 27th.

I have gone through my savings and I've been borrowing money from family and friends. I am asking for 2000 dollars to cover my monthly bills and food. This is not easy for me to do. I have always worked and have become very independent over my fifty years on earth. I am a veteran I spent 8yrs in the US Navy from 1991 t0 1999. I have a son with a nice lady. I say that because we are divorced and she is remarried, but we all get along just fine. We got married because we were having a child together. We both realized this and divorced as friends who agreed to parent together.

I hope some people will be able to help me in this very trying time. Any little bit will help and thank you advance. I receive my cancer treatment from Kirklands cancer center in Jackson TN. I'll upload my diagnosis if it gives me the option.
