Cancer Go Fund me for Dennis and Kathy Burns

Friends, Family and Community :

We would like you to meet our Dear friends Dennis and Kathy Burns.

They have been a staple in the St. Paul Park area for many years, and have left their mark on everyone who knows them. Dennis was recently diagnosed with cancer, and after a very short

stay in the hospital, unfortunately passed away on September 27th, 2022. Dennis is being

remembered for his most recent work at Goodwill in Cottage Grove, his donated time at

Stone Soup (now Basic Needs Thrift Store) where he made many friends. His smile and outgoing

personality larger than life. His prior service noted at Old Dominion Freight Lines.

Kathy has been fighting Cancer herself, over-coming bladder cancer, now still fighting cancer

in the renal area of her body. She has a fighting spirit unlike no other.

If you've had the pleasure of knowing both of them, you know that they are the kindest couple.

Always a smile and always a helping hand to anyone in need. Now, Kathy is in NEED.

This fundraiser will help Kathy to continue moving forward with her medical needs, while

easing the financial burden she now must face. There is no final expense insurance to help

cover the costs that are needed, as well as debt left behind.

As her friends and previous co-workers, we are committed to helping Kathy and her family

continue the battles they all face.

We know there are many fundraisers out there, and each one for a different reason. Your

gift, no matter how small, will make a BIG impact for the Burns family.

As you consider making a contribution, also keep the family in your mind and hearts as

the Celebration of Life is scheduled for October 22nd.

imagine going through ourselves.
