Cancer help for Chuck

On his birthday (December 31, 2023), Chuck (Charles) went to the ER complaining of Kidney Stones. After imagining and tests were done on his kidney and a mass was found, he and his wife Jessica were informed that the mass on his kidney was malignant(cancer). Chuck has since started appointments at Fred Hutch cancer center. Jessica and Charles have been notified after additional tests and imaging that Chuck has metastatic cancer so it has spread to multiple locations. At this time Chuck is doing FMLA paperwork and Jessica does not qualify for it. They’re spending 1-3 days at a time having to stay in Seattle for appointments at the cancer center. This family is prideful and would never admit it but they are going to need financial help. Between multiple scans, tests, surgeries, follow ups, and treatments the costs of lodging, meals and commuting is going to be excessive. They’ve got kids and a household to care for as well and after Chuck’s surgeries he will need physical assistance from Jessica to be able to do basic daily things (like walking) so she will be unable to work.
