Cancer is already cruel enough.

Too often, someone that we know and love hears the words, "You have cancer." This kind of diagnosis has affected us all and each of us has been called to help and deal with it in different ways.

About a week ago a close friend currently receiving cancer treatment reached out as their housing situation was no longer safe. I agreed to help and support them as they go through treatment. I am willing to do whatever it takes to help her throughout her journey. With that I am trying to make whatever time she has left. The goal is to give her as much adventure she can handle.  While offering her peace with friends and family. However, I am not in the position financially to cover my expenses over the next few months so that I can be in close proximity to the treatment location and help her get through the next stage.
