Cancer Suck…… A brother in need

Hello, my name is Rick, I feel the strong calling to help a great friend and brother in desperate need. I have known Russell Thompson for over a decade. I met Russ through my wife’s family and Russ has been a man who was always focused on helping other, charity fundraisers for children with cancer to helping Native American elders. If Russ had it to give he always put others first to simply Help. Well today I’m sad to say Russ need prayers first and foremost. About a month ago Russ nearly “fell out” as he calls it, was rushed to the ER and quickly the Doc discovered he had very little red blood cells or blood. After a week of diagnosis Russ was delivered the gut wrenching news he had Acute leukemia. Doctors demanded immediate Chemotherapy ASAP. After the first round of the most potent Chemo doctors once again delivered bad news, the Chemo didn’t work. Russ’s options were go home give up and wait till the leukemia took him out or try another type of Chemotherapy that the doctors didn’t know how effective was going to be. Russ is still in the hospital battling the demons of this disease and we won’t know how affective this new Chemo is for a couple weeks. Regardless Russ will be going home to resume treatment and will need so much support both financially and emotionally. Russ is currently employed and has little to his name. Russ spent so many years and so much of his heat giving to others it’s time I reach out to friends and strangers (remember we are all connected) to hep ease his constant struggle to figure out how to pay for day to day life. It’s really going to be a fight for Russ to pay the light bill and rent at his apartment. We haven’t even started to think about the full time care he will require or the medical bills. I ask for the deepest of prayers that Russ makes it to see the beautiful gifts of life, and if you can donate $2 or $200 it will be received with the biggest loving heart. Thank you
