Cancer Warrior aka Christine Waniak

Hi, my name is Maxine Graves and I have organized this campaign for my dear friend Christine Waniak. Christine has struggled with health issues for years and now that she has been properly diagnosed, Christine will need support over the next several months as she fights this dreadful disease known as cancer. Please check update for a recent post... I am Christine Waniak and I have been ill for a long time.  And after several years of misdiagnosis, I finally know what my ailment is.  I have been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I have a very large tumor that takes up my sinus cavity, forehead and behind my right eye. I am currently blind in my right eye & pray that heals over time. The tumor has also grown and spread to a portion of my brain. My current treatment entails 8-9 hours of aggressive chemo every 3 weeks and hydration therapy 1 to 2 times per week.  Ten days after the chemo treatments, I have to be admitted to MA General where they have more experience with the additional agressive treatment for my brain, the last treatment I was there for 8 days....experienced renal failure & praying that doesn't happen again..Due to these aggressive treatments & being at very high risk of infection I am unable to work and I can't be exposed to the public. My Dr's have advised me to refrain from working for a minimum of 6 months. I have always prided myself on being a hardworking small business owner, and now my full time job is fighting this disease. I am in need of support for myself and my son.  I am grateful for any support you can offer as no amount is too little and will be greatly appreciated. Please keep me and my family in your prayers as I know God will see me through this. I have fought my entire life for the people and things that mean the most to me and I have ALWAYS won those battles. We all know that cancer sucks, however, I am confident I will beat it!
