Cancer Sucks, but Randy doesn't and needs help!

This is the beginning of the story, so scroll down for the updates of Randy's journey.
I am reaching out to you for help for my friend Randy because he is not one to ask others for help himself.
My friend Randy was recently diagnosed with stage IV cancer. The source of cancer is yet to be determined, but recent tests point towards esophageal cancer. He went to the hospital for breathing issues, finding he had pneumonia, but further tests showed enlarged lymph nodes throughout his body, indicating a very aggressive cancer. This news has come as quite a shock to Randy, as one would imagine. Cancer treatments will begin a few days after Christmas to combat this very aggressive cancer.
I have personally known Randy for 40 years. I met him when I was 13 years old. He was my brother’s high school friend and he and his best friend spent many days and afternoons at our house laughing and carrying on as teen boys do. Many of my best childhood memories include Randy and they still make me laugh thinking of them 40 years later. If you know Randy, you know he will do anything to help others without expecting anything in return. He has a huge heart and sees the beauty in all things and people around him.
I am asking for you to open your hearts and help Randy in his time of need. He has only one income that will be lost during treatment but still will have all bills coming in, including unexpected medical bills and deductibles. Again, he is not one to ask for help, so I am asking for him. If you know Randy personally, please share how you know him and share the GoFundMe. Please help me relieve some stress from his life as he focuses on getting healthy and slaying this terrible disease.
Thank you all for helping someone very dear to me. I appreciate you all.
Much appreciation,
