Cancer Sucks, Please help Linda Kelly (Danko)

Linda was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Lung Cancer. In June, she went to Valley Hospital because of shoulder pain. They did an x-ray. Due to covid restrictions at the time, no one was allowed in the ER with her. When the doctor told her she had a mass the size of a lemon in her right lung, Linda was alone.

Linda had a biopsy done shortly after and the mass came back malignant. Originally, they were hoping to operate to remove it but unfortunately it was inoperable.

Linda currently goes for chemotherapy once a week and radiation 5 days a week. She does not drive so she relies on family and friends to take her.

Unfortunately, Linda does not have health insurance. She applied for charity care. Linda will still be responsible for 25%. Her first bill just came in the mail for a whopping $25,000. More will come.

Linda has two daughters, one away at college and the other a junior in high school. Linda was raised in Waldwick and then moved to Wanaque to raise her daughters when they were little. Linda is a great mom.

I have been friends with Linda for almost 13 years. Linda is always smiling. She's always friendly and is a great friend, always there when you need her. Now, she needs us.

Please help alleviate her added stress of having to pay out of pocket insurance bills.
