Cancer Sucks - Shane Eaton

Donation protected
My brother-in-law Shane Eaton passed away Wednesday night after a three year battle with cancer. My sister wrote, “Shane was a father, a husband, a brother, a friend, but in the end, a warrior. Not once did he give up, or allow a pessimistic thought to enter his mind, as he fought the ugly battle. “Embrace the suck” became his motto. Exhausted & battered, he fought valiantly to the bitter end.”

Unfortunately, Shane’s passing has left my sister and two nephews without their main financial provider. They now face household and medical bills with only one source of income. Sonia, Donovan and JL have ended one battle are now facing a new one; a financial one.

I know most of us live paycheck to paycheck, so my first thought was not a GoFundMe, but my daughter, Isa, reminded me,  sometimes you just have to ask for help.  So, I am humbly asking for $1, $5 or $10 to help alleviate some of the short term burden for my sister and her boys. The donations will be used to cover the immediate costs, and perhaps, some of next few months bills. My hope is to give them some relief from their financial worry during this immense time of grief.
