Cancer Survivor Awareness Fundraiser

Hi friends, I am Karen Whaley Owner and Head Chef of Cosmic Catering LLC and this is my daughter Julie Corbin Co-CEO and Sous/Pastry Chef of Cosmic Catering she is also Owner and designer of Daisey Bows. We are delighted to be here raising money for Cancer Survivors, as June serves as Cancer Survivor Awareness Month, there will be a fundraising event at Surf's Up Restaurant 100 Carys Chapel Rd Poquoson, VA 23662 June 26, 2021 from 10am-3pm, this is a family friendly event, there will be kids games and prizes, face painting, 4 Disney Characters will make an appearance along with a bouncy house, and a huge silent auction.... ALL PROCEEDS FOR TICKET SALES FOR GAMES, FACE PAINTING, THE BOUNCY HOUSE AND SILENT ACTION WILL GO TO THE CAUSE. . This fundraiser is for a very special family, (cannot give a name because it is a surprise) that has sacrificed so much and been there when nobody else was, while battling their own fight with this disease. All of the monies donated, will be given to survivor and their family. We have been fundraising for many causes since 2010 and been able to help many causes and families in need. We are fighting for a cure for this disease, no man, woman or child should ever have to endure the battle of cancer, we believe that one day, there will be a cure and there will be no more suffering. We lost my father in 2018 to multiple cancers, and that was harder than any job we had ever faced. My father in law was fortunate in beating his battle with cancer in 2017 and is still cancer free. We have multiple friends that are battling this disease now and have battled it in the past, and we want to do our part and give to them and try to help them get a step ahead.
