Cancer treatment and expenses for Mark Parr

Hi! My name is Jennifer Parr and I am creating this fundraiser for my husband Mark. On June 18th he was diagnosed with neck and throat cancer. We had a small savings and had recently paid off all our debt (except for our mortgage) and had dreams of world travel when unexpectedly while Mark was preparing for dental surgery his cancer was discovered. This quickly drained our savings and have recently used up all the credit we have available.

Mark and I are very proud people. We have tried to take this journey alone and quickly realized how much our friends and family really want to be a part of this journey and help us. My “momma” reminded me that God puts it on peoples hearts to help and when I refuse that help I’m taking their blessing from them! That hit me hard.

So many have asked how they can help us because they are unable to make the benefit Yard Sale and the Benefit in September and have requested us to create this account so they can help.

We have reached out to several organizations and due to the Covid outbreak last year they were unable to have fundraisers so they just don’t have the funds this year.

We are requesting funds so we are able to cover our monthly expenses during treatment and for the cost of living expenses during treatment and recovery.

We appreciate each of you helping in whatever way it may be! We love all the prayers and words of encouragement and donations!! We feel honored to know each of you and our hearts are overwhelmed! We can not say thank you enough!!
