Cancer Treatment and Financial Hardship

Please help our co-worker and dear friend, Teresa and her husband Darrell Chastain.

They have had a difficult time the past two years.  It started when their house burned down in January 2017.  They hired a contractor that used all the insurance money and did not rebuild the house.  Soon after, Darrell was diagnosed with liver cancer, he is going through various treatments and missing work. 

Fortunately, they were able to get another loan and contractor to rebuild the house.  With that came a large mortgage payment. They are also paying to rent a small apartment while the house is being rebuilt.  Because Darrell is missing work, they are putting the mortgage payments on credit cards.

Now the stress is taking its toll on Teresa, she is having her own health problems. She is working full time, trying to coordinate with the contractor and bank for the house along with taking care of her husband.
