Cancer treatment for retired guide dog
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Bob and I am a retired guide dog.
After 8 years of service to Maggie, who is completely blind, I was hoping to enjoy a long retirement. Unfortunately, I was recently was diagnosed with aggressive and rapidly developing lymphoma.
However, I feel fine, I am still loving my food, playing with other dogs and chasing those pesky squirrels. The nice vet said that, with treatment, I will get to have a happy, pain free retirement. He even said that I should feel well enough during the treatment to go out on Squirrel Patrol because Dog Chemotherapy isn't as ruff as Human Chemotherapy!
The only problem is that because I am retired, Guide Dogs are no longer in a position to pay my medical bills, and by the time I retired I was too old to get vet insurance.
So Maggie and I are hoping that you kind people would consider making a small donation to help me get back on my paws and continue enjoying my well deserved retirement!
Thank you!
Lots of love,
Bob
