Cancer treatment for Todd Drake

Edited for an update 9/8/2020: Due to the amazing support and outreach, Todd was able to have a discussion with his doctors and with the initial 24 hour donations; they feel comfortable to start the treatment tomorrow!!!!!! We are so very blessed!!! We have a long road to go with the treatment and raising funds to cover, so please keep sharing and spreading the word to help him continue to get his treatment!! We would not be able to do this without all of your support and we feel so blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives that are being so generous to help Todd get the treatment he needs. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts! We are 14% to goal in 36 hours!!!! We can do this together for him ❤️

One month ago my stepdad and sisters dad was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer.  Todd has always been the backbone of our family and is the first person to be there to help friends/family in need so now we are in need of anyone and everyone to help him fight this battle.

The oncology doctors want him to start a new therapy called Proton Beam Radiotherapy (PBRT).  His health plan has denied the 35k treatment and his physicians feel that this is the best treatment due to the location of the cancer in his lungs as it’s less invasive to his other organs since it is so close to his heart, spine, and lungs for overall success rate and post treatment health.

We are in urgent need as they want to start this immediately.  

In the event, we do not raise enough funds to cover the treatment, the funds will go to the high cost of medical bills for radiation/chemo or will go towards the bulk in hopes to set up payment plan for the remainder.

We want to extend our gratitude in advance for any support and prayers for Todd.
