Cancer is Expensive

I am Laurie and my brother Frank has stage 3 cancer. He sees three oncology doctors, along with multiple support specialists and has a palliative team. Sadly his insurance does not pay for any outpatient care or his treatments. We travel 45 minutes to an hour and 15 minutes one way for each treatment. Depending on traffic. Beginning in August he will have Chemo with pills and through infusions. These will be 4 to 6 hours one day every three weeks. His only income is SS disability. He needs help with his daily rising medical bills. This is not an easy journey for him, cancer treatment. All of those on his cancer team are wonderful and very caring. He should not have to worry about bills, but it's a fact in his battle. Hes doing everything the multiple team specialist tell him to do. He's fighting hard.
