Help needed Spreading the Love with Care Packages for Caregivers and Cancer Warriors!
Wish LIst- http://a.co/5lF17UV
My husband, Marcus, was diagnosed with a rare form of Appendix Cancer June 24, 2014. After Marcus' diagnosis he fought the tough battle with grace and made an impact on everyone that crossed his path. Marcus was an endurance athlete that was always ready for the next adventure and truly lived life to its fullest. He be believe in having a heart of giving and inspiring others to do the same. Marcus passed away on December 26, 2017 after a 3 1/2 year fight. Marcus received treatment at Sarah Cannon Research Center and Atlanta Cancer Center.
When I started this campaign the holidays and some big milestones were in the near future I was filled with fear of how difficult those days would be. I was reminded while reading some of Marcus’ writings this week of the importance of choosing love and not fear. I have decided to intentionally change that fear into love this holiday season. Part of Marcus’ legacy is having a giving heart. I am going to give back to those that are currently in their own cancer journey in honor of Marcus and I’m looking for you to join me.
I will be collecting items to create Caregiver and Cancer Warrior Care Packages to deliver over the holidays.
I have created an Amazon wish list for ideas but you can purchase the items from anywhere. New items only please. Anything will help put a smile on someone's face!
