We live in difficult times for many people in the world. And many people in diverse communities are striving to make a meaningful difference in communities facing various challenges. While our focus at this time is on global problems, particularly those facing the Palestinian people, this small fundraiser aims to support a woman of Cuban origin, who uses her art and talent to express her reality and the fight for equality for the women of cuba in particular. This is an opportunity to recognize the art and culture of people who resist, despite difficult conditions.

I want to share with you the story and dream of Irina Rodríguez Reyes (@irinarodriguezreyes), Cuban rapper and poet, originally from Santiago de Cuba, single mother of two children, ages 3 and 9. Her passion for music and her fight for gender equality have led her to undertake a very important project: her first independent album titled "Canciones de la Ducha".

Irina is a talented artist who has dedicated her life to music and defending women's rights. She was founder of the Santiago Rap project in Santiago de Cuba and was part of the first

group composed exclusively of women, called Las Positivas, in the eastern region of the country. Who addressed fundamental issues about discrimination against women and the oppression they face both in society and in their homes.

Irina's dream is to produce her own independent album, "Canciones de la Ducha". This project consists of 12 tracks that combine poetry and rap along with three video clips of some of the songs. The title of the album comes from the idea that the shower is one of the few places where many women can be free to express themselves and be themselves.

The purpose of this album goes beyond music; seeks to empower women and single mothers, give them a voice and encourage their entrepreneurial and independent spirit. Irina addresses topics such as the reality of being a single mother in a society rooted in machismo and the courage of women to face these difficulties.

All the songs and poems for "Shower Songs" are written and ready for production, but Irina needs our financial support to make her dream come true. Any contribution, no matter how small it may be, it will be of great help so that this talented artist can carry out her project and continue fighting for gender equality in Latin America, particularly in Cuba.

Si bien nuestro enfoque en este momento son problemas globales, particularmente los que enfrenta el pueblo Palestino, esta pequeña recaudación tiene como objetivo apoyar una mujer de origen cubano, quien usa su arte y su talento para expresarse su realidad y la lucha de la equidad para las mujeres de cuba en particular. Esta es una oportunidad de reconocer el arte y la cultura de la gente que resiste, a pesar de las condiciones difíciles.

Quiero compartir con ustedes la historia y el sueño de Irina Rodríguez Reyes (@irinarodriguezreyes), rapera y poeta cubana, originaria de Santiago de Cuba, madre soltera de dos niños, de 3 y 9 años. Su pasión por la música y su lucha por la igualdad de género la han llevado a emprender un proyecto muy importante: su primer disco independiente titulado Canciones de la Ducha

Irina es una artista talentosa que ha dedicado su vida a la música y a la defensa de los derechos de las mujeres. Fue fundadora del proyecto Santiago Rap en Santiago de Cuba y formó parte de la primera

agrupación compuesta exclusivamente por mujeres, llamada Las Positivas, en la región oriental del país. Quienes abordaron temas fundamentales sobre la discriminación de la mujer y la opresión que enfrentan tanto en la sociedad como en sus hogares.

El sueño de Irina es producir su propio disco independiente, "Canciones de la Ducha". Este proyecto consta de 12 pistas que combinan poesía y rap junto con tres videoclips de algunas de las canciones. El título del disco proviene de la idea de que la ducha es uno de los pocos lugares donde muchas mujeres pueden ser libres para expresarse y ser ellas mismas.

El propósito de este disco va más allá de la música; busca empoderar a las mujeres y madres solteras, darles voz y alentar su espíritu emprendedor e independiente. Irina aborda temas como la realidad de ser madre soltera en una sociedad arraigada en el machismo y la valentía de las mujeres para enfrentar estas dificultades.

Todas las canciones y poemas para "Canciones de la Ducha" están escritas y listas para la producción, pero Irina necesita de nuestro apoyo económico para hacer realidad su sueño. Cualquier contribución,

por pequeña que sea, será de gran ayuda para que esta talentosa artista pueda llevar a cabo su proyecto y continuar luchando por la igualdad de género en Latinoamérica, particularmente en Cuba.
