In Loving Memory of Candace Azevedo

On Tuesday April 20th we unexpectedly lost our beautiful sister Candace. This has shocked and devastated all of us. Friday morning Candace was admitted into the ICU because she was feeling very ill. By the next day she began to have kidney and respiratory failure. On Sunday her liver shut down. For 5 days doctors could not figure out what was causing this rapid decline. They ran multiple tests and were trying everything that they could. Unfortunately, her diagnosis came too late. At that point it had taken over all of her body with irreversible damage. On Tuesday evening, this earth lost a truly wonderful soul. They believe Candace may have had a rare autoimmune diesease called HLH (Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis).

Candace was truly a beautiful person inside and out. She was an amazing Mother, Wife, Sister, Aunt and friend. She leaves behind a loving husband and 13 yr. old daughter. They are both heartbroken and trying to cope with their loss and changes ahead. Many people have reached out asking if there’s anything they can do to help. We have set up this GoFund Me for that reason. During this devastating time anything we can all do to help lessen the burden and help with expenses is greatly appreciated.
