Candace Fearer Funeral and Expenses Fund

On this day, April 28th a tragedy has occurred. Candace “Candy” Fearer has lost her life. 24 Hours ago, her husband found her non-responsive in bed. He called 911, and performed chest compressions until the EMT’s arrived. She had two heart attacks, and was on a ventilator until early this morning when she passed. Candy had the most infectious personality, a true beauty inside and out. Her heart was so wonderful and big. She gave the best hugs, and was an incredible conversationalist. She worked for many years as a server at a very popular and trendy downtown Phoenix restaurant, FEZ, where she had so many loyal and loving customers. She was let go the end of March when the restaurant closed. Prior to FEZ, she worked for Streets of New York Pizza. Twenty one years ago, when I got together with my Husband Dan Cota, he was so excited for me to meet his Best Girl-Friend, Candy. They worked together at Streets for years. I loved her instantly. She was the sole provider for herself and her husband Bob “Noxious” Fearer. Bob is an incredible musician and song writer playing in various bands through the years, Big Dog, Kongo Shock, Killbot, and The Hypnotwists. However Bob’s failing health, diabetes, causing neuropathy in his fingers and feet, liver disease, leg and vein problems, caused him to hang up his guitar. So many know and love them both from his band days. They touched so many lives, and they were such a fun, unique couple who had intense love for one another. How could you not just love them both?! This month was the worst for them, no money coming in, meant no food on the table. On the last day of her life, they were rolling coins, it was all they had. They were just too proud to ask for help. I know many would have helped if they would have known their situation and how bleak things had gotten. Yesterday, when I asked Bob if I can do this “Go Fund Me” account for him, he said he had to think about it, it is so hard for him to ask anything from anybody.

I know this is bad timing, so many without jobs, I know, I am one of them, but please, find it in your heart to give what you can, or maybe share this Go Fund Me page to give others a chance to give what they can. With this unexpected and tragic loss of her beautiful young life, her husband and the rest of her small family in Texas and Maine are all devastated, as you can imagine. Thank you all for hearing my plea.
