Hi, Our family is fundraising for this beautiful young lady Candace who is fighting for her life after being severely assaulted and stabbed while sleeping in her home. Candace suffered a severe blow to the head , her throat slashed and was stabbed in the abdomen. Candice miraculously fought hard to move her fragile body out of the home to get help where a neighbour courageously supported her while waiting to be airlifted off to Winnipeg Hospital. Candace & Scott are expecting their first child and at the moment the safety of their baby is unknown. In order to support Candace and her fiancé Scott with expenses as she recovers and enters the long journey of healing from this horrific trauma, we want to help them in every way to allow them the necessary time needed to hold space for recovery, without the additional worry of finances.

Financial support raised through this platform will be used for medical expenses not covered by Manitoba Medical, Trauma Informed Practise Recovery, accomodations for her fiancé while staying nearby and close to Candace, housing and living expenses, while neither one of them can operate and manage their business.
