Candace Taylor's surgery/recovery

Loved ones, friends and co-workers.  One of our dearest needs our support.  Candace Taylor has been diagnosed with Lumbar Disc Degeneration, she requires surgery.  The procedure will take over 4 hours, doctors will be performing surgery on the L5-S1 Posterior laminectomies and decompression with L5-S1 discectomy and arthrodesis using spacers, BMP, and locally harvested bone.

Candace has never hesitated to help us, whether doing errands on her time off or just shuttling us around town and all with a smile.  We would never know how much pain Candace was dealing with when putting our needs ahead of her own.  Candace is the sole provider in her home and putting her only son through college, he attends the UAA.  The surgery will require extensive physical therapy for the year to come for full recovery.  Candace will be required to remain off work for 8 weeks to heal and begin the journey to recovery.  We need to raise money to help Candace focus on healing. Initial surgery costs estimated at $60,000 dollars and this doesn’t include any monthly living expenses.
