Candace Rich Breast Cancer Treatment & IVF Fund
Donation protected
Why you're here: In August 2023, at the age of 33, Candace was diagnosed with breast cancer. This has been devastating news to her family, which includes her husband, Garrett, and 1 year old son, Hayes. She is so ready to begin treatment and start her journey to being cancer-free (!), but unfortunately, that comes at a large cost.
After losing their first son, Griffin, to a genetic disease in 2020, Candace and Garrett must undergo IVF to have any future children. This is particularly important to complete prior to chemotherapy, which has damaging effects to fertility.
Treatment includes chemotherapy, cold capping, surgery, radiation, and additional immunotherapies for the next year. The out of pocket cost of these treatments is tens of thousands of dollars, not including lost wages due to time off work for chemo, surgery, and other treatment needs.
Thank you for supporting Candace and allowing the financial burden to be one less concern as she and Garrett navigate the arduous process to becoming cancer-free!

A note from the Organizer: As a good friend of Candace and Garrett for over a decade, I have seen their joyful attitude toward life and generosity toward others time and time again. Even while navigating the intensely emotional and stressful moments throughout Griffin's disease, their steadfast love and support for their friends and family remained. Upon hearing the news of Candace's diagnosis, I instantly knew their close community would show up 110% and that the greater community would, as well. They have been dealt a really tough hand once again, and I would absolutely love to provide even the smallest bit of relief for them. Donate here, buy a sign, leave an encouraging comment... all of it is appreciated and helpful!
