Candace's Memorial Fund

Our wonderful and beloved, Candace Ragsdale 57, daughter of Marshall and Doris Ragsdale, left us suddenly on March 1st, 2023.
Candace’s personality is one that will be remembered forever. She was charismatic, witty, and as charming as one could be. She brought people together. She had a gift to be the glue, she bonded people together, and she had the power to change those around her. She had a heart so big; she gave love to anyone she could. Candace just attracted people; people wanted to be in her company, surrounded by her love, and just enthralled with her presence. Her existence has left an impact on all of us and her memory will live within every individual she has touched.
Candace was a mother, a teacher, and an avid participant in every community she was involved in. Candace was a graduate of North Carolina A&T and she contributed over twenty years of her life to the Guilford County school system; all those years being at Aycock Middle school. She was a mother to two wonderful young men, DJ and Tyrel, whom she loved more than one could fathom. She was also a daughter, a sister, an aunt, and a yearly mom to so many students, whose lives she has touched by the hundreds. Her accomplishments go beyond what one could imagine and she led a life so worthy of living. Her achievements will be forever echoed within her former students, family members, and friends.
With the sudden passing of a loved one, always comes the unfortunate financial burden. Candace’s sudden passing puts a heavy financial burden on her children. Whom of which need assistance with her cremation and memorial. Any additional funds will go to helping her children in her absence, which will be greatly needed and appreciated. Please donate anything you are willing to offer, for it will not go unnoticed or unneeded. Thank you all.
