Caden’s Lighthouse rebuild
Spende geschützt
Caden’s Lighthouse was created as a passion project for Rachel and her family. Their son, Caden, is on the Autism Spectrum, and Rachel wanted her son and others like him to have a safe environment where they could explore and be accepted.
Rachel first opened her doors to Caden’s Lighthouse in February of 2020 in Montreal West only to have to shut down a month later due to Covid. Since its reopening, Caden’s Lighthouse has become a second home to countless children and families. Rachel created a unique space for kids with special needs where parents can find support within the community and where our kids can feel safe, happy, and be themselves.
Caden's lighthouse has gracefully opened up many doors and opportunities for families who are seeking help, support and just a fun time for children. This space shines a bright path for many. It truly is our Lighthouse.
Following the big rain storm on July 13, Rachel devastated our community with the news that Caden’s Lighthouse was flooded. Water was rising and pouring in through the walls. All her hard work in building this wonderful space for our kids is lost due to the storm.
They say, “It takes a village to raise our children”. So we are reaching out to our village for this GoFundMe so that Caden’s Lighthouse can rebuild and continue its mission by helping the kids in our community.
Thank-you
