Candy needs carpal tunnel surgery!

Hi my name is Candy and I have been recently diagnosed with having severe carpal tunnel in both of my hands. Before it can get any worse I need to have a surgical procedure on both of them on October 24th to have them released so my condition does not worsen to nerve damage.

My condition has been extremely debilitating as both a new stay at home mom who also is an artist / crafter. My livelihood is based solely on being able to use my hands to create and I have been having a very hard time continuing to do so with my body in the condition it's in now. I will have to close my online shops for at least a month for recovery. For an entire week after the procedure I won't be able to use my hands at all.

I want to be able to carry around my little daughter and play with her more. As of now I have to prop myself up different ways to just be able to read her some books and try snuggling her but she really misses being held by her mama.

It's been scary and literally nerve-wracking but I'm finally on the right track for recovery. Thanks to friends I was blessed to afford the initial nerve testing.

It only started affecting my nerves just a little so I'm on the right track for treatment and dodged the worst of it. With the severity it may be a year before my hands feel amazing but its safe to say they hadn't felt amazing for ages

Its been scary as both of my hands have been going completely numb all of the time, so I got x-rays and a very expensive nerve test done and now I have a diagnosis so we can move forward to treatment, but I am happy to say onward to good health
