CandyFlip: Fundraiser for Gaza - Watermelon Relief

ALL FUNDS WILL BE DONATED TO WATERMELON RELEIF

As horrific events continue to unfold in Gaza, we cannot forget that we have a moral obligation during these times of desperation to help those in need.

As of June 22nd, 37,626 innocent people have been killed during the occupation from Israel. Every hour, 42 bombs are dropped in Gaza, martyring on average of 15 Palestinians in that single 60 minutes. Around 6 of them are children. Over 20,000 children are currently reported to be missing either from bombardment, trapped under rubble or from being kidnapped and detained. We must support those who require it most in anyway we possibly can and this is why we have chosen to raise funds for Watermelon Relief.

Watermelon Relief is a Grassroots charity composed activists on the grounds of Gaza, aiding displaced families with meals, support and activities - making a difference in these times of need.

We will be taking over Sketchy Beats Cafe on Saturday 13th July with an 8 hour day event to raise funds for Gaza.

There will be 8 hours of live DJs in the downstairs jam room and a selection of acoustic sounds, crafts and board games upstairs. All funds will be going directly to Watermelon Relief
