Support for the Canela Family

We are left in shock and heartbroken by Alberto Canela's sudden and unexpected passing. After spending 2 weeks in the ICU fighting for his life due to complications from an illness, unfortunately, he passed away on November 9th. He leaves behind his wife Krystal and their young boys, Abel (6) and Leo (9 months). Alberto was Krystal's life and her rock, especially this past year as she grieved the passing of her mother just 8 months ago.

Alberto left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He was an amazing father and husband and loved Krystal and their boys fiercely. Nothing made him happier than spending time with his family making memories and living life to the fullest. Not only was he a devoted father and husband, he was a great brother, son, uncle and friend! Everyone that knew him felt seen, heard and loved by him.

Alberto owned and operated his own small business. He was very loved and respected by his colleagues and community. As a local business owner, Alberto loved and appreciated the community that supported him and he believed in giving back in big and small ways. With his simple means, he donated generously to a variety of needs including local sports teams, service projects, and time and money to building projects for people in need. The impact of his generosity was HUGE!

The loss Krystal and her boys are facing right now, especially as the holidays, baby's first birthday and anniversaries approach is very heavy. Alberto was the main provider and his loss will be deeply felt financially as the burden falls on Krystal to cover medical, funeral and life expenses.

Family, friends and those who know the Canela's are raising money to help with costs associated with their loss and to help get them through this very difficult time. All the money raised will go directly to Krystal and her boys.
