Cannabis Industry Wildfire Relief Effort
Tax deductible
At Kiva Sales & Services (KSS) and Kiva Confections, we stand by the power of community and the importance of supporting one another, especially in times of crisis. The recent wildfires devastating parts of Los Angeles have left many families, including many we work with, without homes and their communities in turmoil, and once again showcased the dedication of our firefighters. Our hearts are with everyone affected, particularly those who have been displaced or suffered unimaginable loss, and our gratitude goes to the thousands of firefighters who did the impossible to protect those communities.
In response to this urgent need, we are launching a fundraising initiative to provide direct relief to support those communities impacted by the fires, as well as the firefighter community. We invite our valued suppliers, brands, retail partners, and others in our industry to join us in this critical effort.
Our Matching Program:
To amplify our collective impact, KSS and Kiva Confections will match every dollar contributed to our fundraiser up to $50,000 until February 22, 2025. All donations will directly go to the California Fire Foundation, which provides emotional and financial assistance to families of fallen firefighters, firefighters, and the communities they protect. With your help, we have the potential to raise $100,000 to support the LA community and California firefighters through this foundation.
As members of the cannabis industry, we know firsthand how cannabis can positively affect people’s lives, bringing relief and comfort in times of need. This initiative is an opportunity to extend that positive impact beyond our products and demonstrate the cannabis industry's commitment to making a meaningful difference. Your support will provide much-needed resources to those who have lost so much and help provide immediate and long-term relief to both communities and survivors. Together, we can show that our industry not only enhances our consumer’s lives, but also stands ready to support our greater community in times of crisis- offering hope, sustenance, and paving the way for recovery.
We appreciate your partnership and generosity and hope you join us in making a difference in this critical time.
