Can't Kick Elmwood Cemetery Down!

Hi, my name is Kim. I'm fundraising to help cover the repairs for recent vandalism of over 250 monuments at the historic, non-profit Elmwood Cemetery in Moncton at the hands of vandals.

 

ALL FUNDS COLLECTED WILL BE DONATED TO THE ELMWOOD CEMETERY.

 

Just one portion of the repairs is $3000 alone.  TheTelegraph Journal posted an article titled: 'It's senseless': Cemetery damaged by vandals, which I have tried to hyperlink here .

 

My dad's remains are buried here. Thankfully, his granite marker is unharmed.

 

What vandals have done is deplorable but they can't kick us down, right!!

 

The funds donated will be used to pay for the repairs to the copper trim on the roof of a family crypt (now susceptible to rain) and the extensive labour and time required to lift the heavy monuments back in place.
