Canute Preservation of Rt 66 (CPR66)

Rt 66 will be celebrating the 100th Anniversary in 2026. The Canute Preservation on Rt 66 group has been organized to help Preserve the history of Rt 66 through our great little town. 2 projects that we have accomplished is the repainting of the Canute City Hall building and Snowder Tire and Alignment (which placed in the top 3 in the Keep Oklahoma Beautiful competition).

We have several projects we want to accomplish in the future and one of the big projects is to have the City Jail moved to the Canute Park. Our Park was a WPA project during the depression and many people stop on their tour of Rt 66. They also love the little concrete jail that we all remember.

All funds will be used for projects and we do not take any admin fees. It is all volunteer work :)
