CAP Sponsored Silence
LOWESTOFT COMMUNITY CHURCH is raising money for CAP, a charity very close to their hearts. CAP stands for Christians Against Poverty and is a charity that was started back in 1996 by one man who wanted to use his knowledge and expertise to help the poor and those trapped or crippled by debt.
CAP has grown over the years with CAP projects across the country, CAP Job Club and CAP Life Skills. Here at LCC we've had volunteers trained by CAP as CAP Money Course coaches for several years.
In 2020 Lowestoft Community Church has partnered with CAP to launch a CAP Centre here in our town! From debt and money management to support for people who are crippled by debt and living in fear, from day to day, this centre allows us to be real, present and on hand to help. To transform lives in a real and practical way.
On September 26th the children and youth will be taking part in a sponsored silence to raise money for the new Lowestoft CAP Centre.
We will be posting updates by the children and youth here as they undertake their mission but if you would like to sponsor them or would like to donate to the Lowestoft CAP Centre every contribution will help. Thank you in advance for your donations.
