"The Captain Kori Foundation"

UPDATE: My goodness, your support has blown us away and gone beyond our wildest imagination. It's truly amazing to see how many of you Kori has inspired and touched. In fact, because of the overwhelming support, we are able to look at using the remaining funds (after the original needs are taken care of and Pixi has been given time to mourn of course) to begin looking into starting a charity foundation in Kori's honor. "The Captain Kori Foundation". To spread awareness of childrens organ donation and help other children and families in situations similar to Koris.

GoFundMe associates have even reached out to me suggesting we up the current goal for this exact reason, to help others with this momentum. We first need to get a solicitor to begin setting something up officially. So we've adjusted our goal with that in mind and taken the first step of contact.

For full transparency, this is just the start! We are no experts so the first step is reaching out to those that are and looking how to do this properly. We have no idea how difficult or expensive this will be, so your support will help us see what's possible!

Hello Crewmates, It's Sian here (or Kuro as a lot know me). I'm making this GoFundMe on behalf of and with full permission from Pixi. Koris mother.

As a lot of people are aware now, our wonderful Captain set sail for his last voyage yesterday and the harsh reality of his send off is coming up.

So i am here to deliver Pixi (and some of Koris) wishes for his grand send off!

A farewell as grand as our Captain deserves is not a cheap affair. So after speaking extensively with Pixi, i am here to explain some of the wishes for the event;

The Captain will be donned in his beautiful Pirate attire, of course with his signature tricorn. She hopes to have him pulled by the same glass carriage and black horses that transported her mother. The resting place, Kori asked for carved stone with a pirate ship and Whitby Abbey layered on with his photo and Pixi would like it finished with marble floor with his hand and footprint lasered onto it.

On top of this, they also need to take in mind the hire costs of the wake, food, venue.. and Pixi would love the whole send off to be filmed for her memory.

We have no idea of the final cost so the goal has been discussed with many people for ideas, researched and decided is at the least what all of this would cost. Of course Pixi doesnt expect anything from anyone, but anyone who does wish to donate to give Kori the farewell he deserves.. has her, the fmaily and friends, wholehearted gratitude.
