Help Capt. Maxwell Support Veterans & the Military
Hello everyone,
My name is Captain Martin Maxwell and I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy.
Seventy-five years ago, I was a soldier in WWII and lived through a very challenging time along with many others who fought for our freedom and those who supported at home. The COVID-19 pandemic is a new and different war that we’re now facing, and I am growing increasingly concerned about my brothers and sisters-in-arms who are affected by this global crisis.
As a former soldier myself, I know how challenging military service can be. Many suffer from mental health issues or require support for their families. This global crisis can intensify these issues. That is why Veterans, military members and their families need additional help during this time.
The Canadian Armed Forces are now being deployed to provide COVID-19 relief. This will certainly affect many families and increase the need for support.
I would like to help my community of Veterans and military members who may be struggling. A good friend introduced me to an organization that is doing a lot to support this community called True Patriot Love Foundation. They fund programs and services across Canada that provide critical support, and I know this is what’s needed particularly during this pandemic.
I'm making the first $2,000 donation and I hope you will join me in helping them continue their very important work by donating today.
