CAPTAIN MICHAEL LARUE COVID-19 RELIEF FUND

Michael LaRue is a devoted Christian, family man and professional fisherman out of Galveston, Texas.  He was diagnosed with COVID-19 and was admitted to the ICU on his 53rd birthday, August 16th, 2020.  Within two days, he was rushed to surgery for blood clots in both legs and placed on a ventilator.  By August 21st, his conditions began to worsen and he was considered unstable.  Although Michael has had his ups and downs through the course of the past week, he remains in a medically induced coma, under full life support.  His doctors have administered convalescent plasma, along with the Remdisivir treatment among many other medications and procedures.  

The doctors know that most patients on a ventilator and in this extreme critical condition have less chances of survival, however, the doctors are giving Pam and the family hope that he will still pull through but the recovery time will take months.  They are all taking it day by day and continuing to reach the goal of stability and fighting this disease.

His beloved wife Pam LaRue and his family are first and foremost asking for your prayers.  Michael and Pam are both self employed which adds financial stress to this unforeseen situation.  Any donation, big or small, will aid in the support of their uncertain future and medical expenses and the funds from this fundraiser will be directly sent to Michael and Pam LaRue.  We will continue to send updates on Michael’s progress.  Thank you for your continued prayers, love and support.
