Captain Pursley Lahaina Maui friends and family

Donation protected
As I am sure most, if not all of you are already aware, Maui recently suffered from a devastating wildfire that has been ranked the fifth deadliest in US history. Over 111 lives have been lost, thousands of acres of beautiful landscape destroyed, and countless homes and structures are now gone.

What some of you may not know is that our Fire Marshal, Captain Pursley, along with his wife and their family, call Maui home. Lahaina, where the blaze began, is where Captain Pursley’s wife Shelly is deeply rooted, where they met, and where they spent so much of their lives before moving to Texas.

Without going into deeply personal details, Captain Pursley and his wife have been significantly impacted by this tragedy. The immediate needs of their family members and loved ones are being met, but there is so much healing and rebuilding to be done, and emergency resources can only go so far and do so much.

Captain Pursley has dedicated his life to fighting fires and serving others. I’d love it if we could come together and show our support by helping his and Shelly's family in this time of need.
