Car accident - car at fault w no insurance

Update-after 16 days in the hospital and 14 days in rehab, I am back in Warren at an apartment we had to rent because our house is not conducive to a wheelchair due to carpet and very narrow door ways. I have been upgraded to a boot and hopefully will be starting toe touching (first step in learning to walk again) later this week. I have a lot of physical therapy ahead of me but I am on my way!!

So I received the call from insurance stating that my insurance pays 85% percent of wages but only up to $500/week. That, unfortunately, is a huge hit as I work alot of hours to make ends meet.

Hi, this is Shari Huddleston and yesterday while driving to DK to put in some hours in the PDC, a truck pulled out in front of me on Hwy 1. While I am beyond super lucky and only have a fractured sternum and an open fracture on my right ankle that I will be heading to a 2nd surgery on Friday while staying in the hospital until then. Doctor stated a full recovery time is 3 months before I can start walking again. As many of you know, my husband has been out of work for the last couple years due to health issues of his own. I have been working 2 jobs to make ends meet. I will get a portion of my wages reimbursed through car insurance but the money will be used to make up the difference and extra gas money to appointments and for my husband to stay near me while in hosital as we are 220 miles from home. If anybody is able or willing to help out or even offer prayers, I would be so, so appreciative please. I'm not one to ask for help unless I absolutely need it and don't feel super great about this request but even prayers are greatly appreciated.
