Kirsten's Medical Expenses

Dear Friends and Family, 


  As some of you know, Kirsten was in a very serious car accident on February 5.  As a result of this, she suffered multiple fractures and internal injuries.  These injuries included damage to her spleen,  a hip dislocation, multiple pelvic fractures, fractures of her orbital sockets, and shattered teeth.  

   Anyone who knows Kirsten knows that she has a heart of gold.  She is always the first to help anyone in need and lend a hand.  She jumps in feet first to help family members and friends with anything from babysitting,  to shoveling sidewalks to bringing flowers and meals to family and friends.  Her smile, infectious giggle,  and energy are her trademarks.  Her positive attitude and unconditional affection for the special needs students with whom she works enables her students to work toward  their goals!  She puts her heart and soul into all she does, especially working with her students. 

     This amazing young lady has always gone out of her way to provide help, support and cheer to all who know her, because that’s just who she is. 

   This tragedy will take quite a toll on all aspects of Kirstens life.  She will require extensive facial surgeries, oral and dental surgeries  and restorative procedures, as well as therapies.   She will be unable to work and participate fully in life for quite some time.   With our love and support she will heal and be back to her energetic happy and bubbly girl!
