Car Accident, Unexpected Expenses

Hello, my name is Cai Michel. I am the brother of Lilia Michel, who has been in a horrible car accident on June 13th. When EMTS arrived, Lilia had pulled herself out of the car into the near by drainage ditch. We are very fortunate she survived the crash, however both her feet/ankles are broken as a result. She had to undergo surgery on her left ankle, and will be in a wheelchair for months. When the car accident happened, Lilia had to leave her job, and her upstairs apartment in Davis, Ca, to get additional help. One of her pets is going to need to be rehomed, without her being able to be there. On top of that, her car and some personal belongings were lost in the crash. It was at this point I realized my little sister and my family might need additional help from our community. The donation funds will be used to get Lilia back on her feet. (No pun intended!) Donations will go towards the apartment, helping my family, and finding an affordable car so she can go back to work when she can walk again. Thank you for taking the time to read her story.
