My name is Laura Maria. My sister, Luz, and her boyfriend, Darian, were vacationing in Cozumel, Mexico when they were run over by a police vehicle.

Darían's situation is very complicated. He is in an induced coma. He has multiple fractures throughout his body, and the hospital in Cozumel does not have the necessary specialists.

Luz is currently in surgery to have her right leg amputated.

Our family is trying to raise funds from Argentina, because the treatment costs are very high and we cannot cover them.
